YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP, WHETHER RIGHT HERE IN YOUR OWN LOCAL COMMUNITY OR WE’RE ABLE TO HELP PROVIDE SIGHT TO OTHERS AROUND THE WORLD. THAT’S WONDERFUL. JEN, YOU KNOW FIRSTHAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS KIND OF HELP, THIS MISSION. HOW IS THIS IMPACTED YOU AND WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT FOR PEOPLE TO COME OUT THIS WEEKEND? OH, IT IS SO IMPORTANT. AND WHEN THEY FOUND A MATCH, I RECEIVED A KIDNEY AND A PANCREAS. SO ORGAN DONATION DOESN’T EVEN IT DOESN’T ONLY GIVE HOPE, BUT IT ALSO GIVES PEOPLE A CHANCE TO BELIEVE IN THEIR FUTURE AND THAT MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. AND I’M SURE PEOPLE SITTING AT HOME, THEY THINK MAYBE IT WON’T IMPACT THEM OR THEIR LOVED ONES. HOW CAN YOU ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BE PART OF THIS TO TO, YOU KNOW, BE A DONOR THEMSELVES OR TO JUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OR TO COME OUT AND SUPPORT THE EVENT? YES, PLEASE. I MEAN, REGISTER TO BE A DONOR BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT’S GOING TO BE YOUR LOVED ONE THAT NEEDS AN ORGAN, TISSUE OR EYE. AND IT JUST NOT ONLY CHANGES THE RECIPE, IT’S LIFE, BUT IT CHANGES THEIR FAMILY, THEIR COMMUNITY. EVERY CONTRIBUTION IAN I GET TO MAKE IS BECAUSE MY DONOR MADE THE COURAGEOUS CHOICE TO BE A DONOR. YOU ARE ASUNCION. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR STORY. WE APPRECIATE THAT. TELL US MORE ABOUT THE EVENT THIS WEEKEND FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO COME OUT. SO COME ON OUT SATURDAY, MAY 4TH.
